A digital witness for money between people

Two sides. One record. Zero “he said, she said.”

ePatto turns an informal money agreement into a verified, tamper-proof record.

You already made the deal — the handshake, the “pay me back next month.” ePatto just makes sure there's a record both of you signed off on: live photo proof, GPS, and a timeline neither side can edit after the fact.

How ePatto makes a record tamper-proof

Live photo proof
Camera only. Gallery uploads are blocked — proof is captured in the moment.
GPS + server time
Every record carries a location and a server-verified timestamp.
Device-fingerprinted
Each entry is tied to the device that made it.
Tamper-proof timeline
Once it’s recorded, no one can quietly rewrite it.

ePatto is a record-keeping tool — not a lender, bank, NBFC, or loan provider. We don't lend money, hold funds, or match borrowers with lenders. We create the proof for agreements people make on their own.

The real cost of “I'll pay you back”

The money's awkward. Forgetting the details is worse.

Most money between people is built on trust and memory. Memory is where friendships go to argue.

A loan to your cousin. An advance to a contractor. A chit fund with five friends. It all starts warm — and then someone remembers $10,000 and someone remembers $8,000. Was it due in March or May? Did that last payment count? With no record, the only thing left to fight over is who's lying.

01
Two memories, one truth
Each side remembers the version that favors them. Nobody’s lying. Everybody’s wrong.
02
Nothing to point to
No date, no amount agreed in writing, no proof anything was ever paid.
03
The relationship pays
Chasing a friend for money costs more than the money. So people just… don’t.

You shouldn't need a lawyer to lend your brother $20,000. You just need a record you both agreed to.

From handshake to on-the-record in minutes

Both sides agree. Then it's locked.

ePatto doesn't move money. It records the agreement you already made — and gets both people to confirm it.

1
Set the terms

Write down what was agreed

Amount, who owes whom, the repayment schedule, any interest. Plain and clear, in both people’s words.

2
Capture live proof

Snap the proof, on the spot

Open the camera and capture the moment. Gallery uploads are blocked, so proof is real and current. GPS and a server timestamp ride along.

3
Both confirm

Two-way handshake

The other person reviews and confirms the same terms. No record exists until both sides say “yes, that’s right.”

4
Track to settled

Watch the balance fall

Record each repayment with a running balance. When the debt hits zero, both sides confirm closure — and it settles for good.

Why a screenshot won't hold up — and an ePatto record will

Locked three ways the moment it's made

A photo can be faked. A text can be deleted. An ePatto record is sealed by three independent locks at the instant it's created.

Lock 1 — Live capture

Proof is taken through the camera in real time. No uploads, no old photos, no edits.

Lock 2 — Place & time

GPS and a server-verified UTC timestamp are stamped on every entry — not your phone's clock, ours.

Lock 3 — Both signatures

The record only exists once both people confirm the same terms. One side can't invent it.

This isn't a loan contract. It's the proof that the agreement happened, exactly as both sides described it.

Everything that goes on the record

Built to be believed later

The free tools keep the agreement honest. Premium adds the paperwork for when “honest” needs to be “official.”

Free — on every record
Tamper-proof timeline

Every action — creation, edits, payments, settlement — lands on a full audit trail that both people see and neither can quietly rewrite. This is the record that holds up later.

Structured agreements

Amount, terms, and schedule both people accept up front.

Live photo proof

Camera-only capture — no gallery, no fakes.

GPS + verified time

Where and when, sealed by our server, on every record.

Questions people actually have

Is ePatto a loan app? Do you lend money?
No. ePatto never lends money, holds funds, or connects borrowers with lenders. It is a record-keeping tool — you and the other person make the agreement on your own, and ePatto creates the verified proof of it.
What if the other person later changes their story?
They can’t change the record. It only exists because both of you confirmed the same terms, and every entry is locked with live photo proof, GPS, a server timestamp, and a timeline no one can edit after the fact.
Why are gallery uploads blocked?
Because an old screenshot proves nothing. Forcing live camera capture means the proof was taken in the moment, at a real place and time — which is exactly what makes it hard to fake.
Is an ePatto record legally binding?
ePatto is not a contract and not legal advice. It is strong, timestamped evidence that an agreement was made and confirmed by both sides — the kind of proof that helps when memory and good faith run out. Premium PDF export gives you a clean copy for formal use.
What does it cost?
Your first 3 records are free, with no credit card. After that, premium is a simple monthly or yearly subscription, priced for your region and shown only in the app. Nothing is charged automatically when your free records run out.
Who can see my records and data?
Only the two people on a record can see it. ePatto collects what it needs to make proof trustworthy — like location and live photos on an entry — and never sells your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Is ePatto on Android?
Yes — ePatto is live on both iPhone and Android. Download it free from the App Store or Google Play, and record your first 3 agreements at no cost.
